Job summary

National Medical Care seeks an ICU Registrar to provide inpatient care in a high-quality setting in Saudi Arabia. You will perform history taking, examinations, and coordinate diagnostic plans under Consultant supervision, ensuring accurate medical records and timely documentation.

You will admit from the ER, conduct daily rounds, participate in on-call rotations, and educate patients and families while upholding ethics and standards.

Qualifications

• Must hold a university master’s degree or equivalent.
• Minimum of three years in the specialty after obtaining Master’s Degree.
• Current valid license to practice medicine in the area of the specialty.
• Registration in Saudi Commission for Health Specialties and/or current license to practice medicine in Saudi Arabia.
• Additional experience in the specialty is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Ensure high quality medical treatment with compassion and understanding for every patient.
• Take history, perform physical exams, interpret tests and document condition on admission.
• Admit patients from the ER after discussion and approval of the Consultant.
• Evaluate new admissions and coordinate investigation and management plan with the Consultant.
• Conduct daily rounds and liaise with Consultants for inpatient care.
• Prepare discharge summaries, death reports and related documentation.
• Participate in on-call rota and respond to emergencies.
• Educate patients and families per policy and ensure proper documentation.
