Job summary

Flowserve is seeking an HSE Specialist in Saudi Arabia to drive a strong safety culture and ensure operational compliance across facility operations. The role focuses on 5S, incident reporting, safety training, and alignment with local HSE legislation and Flowserve standards.

The successful candidate will lead safety audits, manage safety committees, and investigate incidents to prevent recurrence, while coordinating training and emergency drills. Strong English, 2+ years experience are required.

Qualifications

• BS/BA graduate of any 4 year course, or Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety.
• NEBOSH International general certificate in OHS.
• Detailed knowledge of ISO-9001, 14001 and 45001.
• With at least 2 years of relevant experience.
• With good English communication skills.
• MHRSD professional certificate (Kawader)
• Excellent knowledge of Saudi Arabia health, safety and environment legislation

Responsibilities

• Maintain high level of housekeeping. Implement and maintain 5S in the facility. Perform 5'S audit every 3 months.
• Conduct walk through safety inspection on a daily basis and report findings to immediate supervisor and enter findings in Sphera.
• Review local standards and ensure that those requirements are brought to the attention of immediate supervisor and top management.
• Conduct monthly HSE committee and weekly toolbox meeting. Provide reports.
• Report all Near miss/First aid/Loss time, environmental/fire/vehicular incident to SPHERA. Encourage all associates in the site to report observation in Sphera
• Review all reports in SHPERA and update HSE RAIL on a regular basis.
• Manage environmental, health, and safety activities through strong leadership, communication, motivation and direction ofsafety committee.
• Conduct a rigorous incident investigation process focused on, prevention, root cause analysis and injury prevention leading indicators.
• Coordinatesafety training for all employees in the areas of Safety Health & Environmental matters
• Develop and administer New Hire Orientation Safety Training Investigate and maintain records for all work-related injuries and/or illnesses, provide statistical analysis, and assist department management in the development of effective health and safety countermeasures to continuously improve safety objectives.
• Serve as co-chair on the Joint Health and Safety Committee and help to coordinate activities, recommendations, and accountability of issues identified by the Safety regulations and Flowserve corporate audits.
• Conduct monthly workplace safety audits and establish measurable standards from which further recommendations (continuous improvement) can be made, with effective follow-up.
• Coordinate emergency evacuation procedures, training, and practice drills
• Ensure all environmental reports are submitted accurately and on time pertaining air, storm water and sanitary sewer discharge permits.

Role Summary:
