Job summary

Virtucruit partners with a leading mining company in Saudi Arabia to appoint an HSE Officer in the Health, Safety & Environment Department. The role focuses on implementing and monitoring health, safety and environmental procedures across mining and drilling operations.

You will ensure compliance with Saudi laws, develop risk assessments, lead trainings, and drive continuous improvement through audits and inspections.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Health and Safety or related discipline.
• NEBOSH IGC (IGC) in Occupational Health and Safety or equivalent.
• Valid driving licence with ability to travel to remote sites.
• Minimum 3–5 years' experience in Health, Safety and Environment in mining, exploration, or drilling.

Responsibilities

• Implement and improve the HSE management system across sites.
• Ensure compliance with Saudi regulations and client standards.
• Conduct routine inspections of rigs, workshop, camp, vehicles.
• Perform risk assessments and JHA/Take-5 analyses.
• Monitor PTW systems and PPE compliance.
• Lead HSE inductions, toolbox talks, and training.
• Prepare HSE reports and participate in audits.
