Job summary

Abunayyan Holding seeks an HSE Specialist to provide technical health, safety and environmental expertise on construction projects. You will develop risk assessments, job safety analyses and HSE procedures to ensure compliance and safe operations.

The role involves advising project teams, supporting audits, handling incident investigations and delivering HSE training content. A 3+ year track record and NEBOSH IGC or IOSH Managing Safely along with First Aid/ CPR are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' health, safety and environmental experience on construction projects.
• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety; NEBOSH IGC or IOSH Managing Safely; valid First Aid/ CPR certificate.

Responsibilities

• Develop and review the risk assessments, the job safety analyses and the HSE procedures.
• Develop the controls for high risk activities including lifting, excavation, work at height, confined space and hot work.
• Verify that the method statements reflect the controls agreed.
• Advise project teams on specialist HSE questions raised.
• Support sites in preparing for client and third party audits.
• Review incident investigations and strengthen controls.
• Develop HSE training content, inductions and toolbox talks library.
• Maintain the HSE training matrix and track competence records.
• Deliver specialist training sessions on assigned topics.
• Maintain HSE documentation and management system records.
• Monitor changes in Saudi OHS regulations and assess their effect.
• Verify compliance of projects against regulatory and client requirements.
