Responsibilities

• Direct the work assignments of supervisory and non-supervisory staff in an efficient manner to ensure prompt and courteous service to guests and other departments.
• Check Public Areas / Floors to ensure furnishing, facilities and equipment are clean and in good repair, maintaining hotel standards, with VIP attention as needed.
• Coordinate with other Housekeeping sections and departments on issues affecting appearance and room status; confirm room status for repairs.
• Assist in recruitment, performance management, training needs analysis, and development of training plans.
• Conduct monthly training sessions to meet identified training needs.
• Schedule routine inspections of housekeeping areas, including occupied and non-occupied rooms.
• Control usage of amenities and cleaning supplies to meet budget and ensure proper tool usage.
• Assist in monitoring of housekeeping procedures including Lost and Found, Key Control, Security, Health and Safety.
