Job summary

FAENA The Red Sea in Saudi Arabia is seeking a Kitchen Technician to maintain and repair commercial kitchen equipment across the hotel. You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance, diagnose faults, and support safe, efficient F&B operations.

The ideal candidate has a technical diploma in Electrical/Mechanical/Refrigeration, strong troubleshooting skills, and flexibility to work weekends and shifts as required by hotel operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum technical qualification in Electrical, Mechanical, Refrigeration or related field.
• Experience in hotels, resorts, or large commercial kitchens preferred.
• Strong knowledge of kitchen equipment and maintenance practices.
• Ability to read technical manuals and instructions.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on commercial kitchen equipment and appliances.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain cooking, refrigeration, heating, and food preparation equipment.
• Diagnose electrical, mechanical, refrigeration, and basic plumbing faults related to kitchen equipment.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and equipment breakdowns to minimize disruption.
• Coordinate with Engineering and F&B teams regarding maintenance requirements.
• Maintain records of repairs, inspections, and servicing.
• Support energy conservation and equipment efficiency initiatives.
