Job summary

FAENA The Red Sea is seeking a skilled Carpenter to carry out carpentry, repair, maintenance, and installation works across the hotel. You will ensure furniture, doors, fixtures, and wooden elements meet high quality, safety, and appearance standards to support guest experiences.

Responsibilities include repairing and installing wood components, following drawings and specifications, and coordinating with Engineering and hotel departments to deliver projects safely and efficiently.

Qualifications

• Technical or vocational qualification in carpentry, woodworking, or a related trade.
• Previous experience as a Carpenter or in a similar maintenance role.
• Experience in hotels, resorts, or large facilities is preferred.
• Good knowledge of carpentry techniques, materials, tools, and equipment.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and shifts, as required by hotel operations.

Responsibilities

• Perform carpentry repairs, maintenance, installation, and modification works throughout the hotel.
• Repair and maintain doors, locks, frames, cabinets, furniture, shelving, partitions, and other wooden fixtures.
• Inspect furniture, fixtures, and wooden installations to identify damage, defects, or maintenance requirements.
• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance according to schedules and work orders.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guest rooms, public areas, offices, and back-of-house areas.
• Measure, cut, shape, assemble, install, and finish wood and other materials per specifications.
• Repair and restore furniture and decorative wooden elements while maintaining quality standards.
• Install and adjust doors, hinges, locks, handles, cabinets, shelving, and related fittings.
• Read and follow drawings, measurements, technical instructions, and work specifications when required.
