FAENA is seeking a skilled Carpenter to perform repairs, maintenance, installation and modification works across the hotel, ensuring wooden elements meet high standards of quality and safety. You will inspect, repair, and restore doors, cabinets, fixtures, and furniture while adhering to schedules and hotel requirements.

Ideal candidates have technical carpentry qualifications and hotel experience, with flexibility to work weekends and shifts.

Qualifications

• Technical or vocational qualification in Carpentry, Woodworking or a related trade is preferred.
• Experience in hotels, resorts, or large facilities is preferred.
• Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and shifts as required by hotel operations.

Responsabilités

• Perform carpentry repairs, maintenance, installation and modification works throughout the hotel.
• Inspect doors, frames, cabinets, furniture and other wooden fixtures for damage or maintenance needs.
• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance according to schedules and work orders.
• Read drawings, measurements, and technical instructions and follow work specifications.
• Maintain tools, equipment and work areas in a clean, safe, and organized condition.
• Coordinate with Engineering and hotel departments when carrying out maintenance work.
• Support hotel projects, renovations and operational requirements as needed.
• Follow health, safety and fire prevention procedures.

The Carpenter is responsible for carrying out carpentry repair maintenance and installation works throughout the hotel The role ensures that furniture doors fixtures fittings and other wooden elements are maintained to the highest standards of quality safety and appearance supporting both hotel operations and the overall guest experience

DUTIES amp RESPONSIBILITIES

Perform carpentry repairs maintenance installation and modification works throughout the hotel Repair and maintain doors locks frames cabinets furniture shelving partitions and other wooden fixtures Inspect furniture fixtures and wooden installations to identify damage defects or maintenance requirements Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance according to established schedules and work orders Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guest rooms public areas offices and back-of-house areas Measure cut shape assemble install and finish wood and other materials according to required specifications Repair and restore furniture and decorative wooden elements while maintaining hotel quality and appearance standards Install and adjust doors hinges locks handles cabinets shelving and related fittings Read and follow drawings measurements technical instructions and work specifications when required Use hand tools power tools and carpentry equipment safely and correctly Ensure all completed work meets hotel quality safety and operational standards Maintain tools equipment materials and work areas in a clean safe and organized condition Monitor carpentry materials and spare parts and report replenishment requirements when necessary Maintain accurate records of completed maintenance and repair activities Coordinate with other Engineering team members and hotel departments when carrying out maintenance work Support hotel projects renovations installations and operational requirements when needed Follow all health safety and fire prevention procedures Perform other duties as assigned by Engineering management

Qualifications

Technical or vocational qualification in Carpentry Woodworking or a related trade is preferred Previous experience as a Carpenter or in a similar maintenance role Experience within hotels resorts residential properties or large facilities is preferred Good knowledge of carpentry techniques materials tools and equipment Experience in furniture repair installation and finishing works Basic understanding of workplace health and safety requirements Ability to work flexible hours including weekends holidays and shifts as required by hotel operations
