Job summary

Qiddiya | القدية is seeking a Lead Architectural Designer to shape the innovative hospitality portfolio. You will oversee the architectural design process, ensuring quality and compliance from concept to delivery.

Ideal candidates will have over 15 years of experience in architectural design, particularly in the hospitality sector, along with strong stakeholder management and design leadership skills. Experience in the KSA or GCC environment is preferred.

Qualifications

• 15+ years' experience in architectural design with a strong hospitality focus.
• Experience in a senior design leadership role within a major architecture practice.
• Proven track record of managing architect and multi-disciplinary consultant environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead the architectural definition of hotel concepts.
• Oversee consultant briefing and scope definition.
• Drive integrated coordination across architecture, interiors, and technical disciplines.
• Mentor teams and improve design processes.

Skills

Strong architectural design literacy

Fluent understanding of hospitality planning

Ability to manage consultants

Commercial awareness

Strong stakeholder management skills

Proficiency in design management tools

Education

Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related discipline

Professional membership or recognised certification preferred (e.g. RIBA, AIA, RICS)
