Job summary

El Seif Operation and Maintenance is hiring an HVAC Technician to operate, inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC systems in building facilities. Qualifications

• Technical diploma or certificate in HVAC, Refrigeration, Air Conditioning, Mechanical, or related field.
• Experience in Facilities Management, building maintenance, HVAC maintenance.
• Experience in buildings such as towers, malls, hospitals, hotels, compounds, universities, airports, or large facilities.
• Good knowledge of refrigeration and air conditioning systems.
• Practical experience with DX and chilled water HVAC systems.
• Ability to use standard HVAC tools and instruments.
• Ability to troubleshoot common HVAC faults.
• Basic knowledge of electrical safety related to HVAC maintenance.
• Good communication skills and ability to follow supervisor instructions.
• Willingness to work full-time on-site in building facilities.

Responsibilities

• Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance for HVAC systems.
• Inspect HVAC systems and equipment regularly and report findings.
• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC mechanical and electrical faults.
• Work on DX and chilled water systems, including split units, packaged units, ducted split systems, VRV/VRF, AHU, FCU, CAV/VAV, and related HVAC equipment.
• Replace or repair HVAC controls and electronic components when required.
• Install or repair refrigerant lines, chilled water lines, make-up lines, and drain lines.
• Respond quickly to maintenance calls and resolve issues within required time.
• Identify required spare parts and support spare parts requests.
• Support testing and commissioning activities when applicable.
• Maintain basic maintenance records, registers, and reports.
• Follow all site safety procedures, PPE requirements, LOTO, isolation, risk assessment, and work permit procedure.
• Support supervisors and engineers in planning and completing maintenance task.
• Ensure work is completed according to project SLA and quality standard.
