Job summary

U.S. Renal Care Saudi Arabia is seeking a Health Information Systems Specialist to lead the implementation, integration, and optimization of HIS within Saudi healthcare organizations.

The role ensures compliance with MOH and CBAHI standards, supports data migration, training, and governance, and collaborates with IT, clinical teams, and vendors to improve data quality and interoperability. Candidates should have a Master’s or Bachelor’s in a related field and at least five years of health

Qualifications

• Master’s or Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
• Saudi-only Diploma acceptable for certain roles.
• Five years of experience in health information.
• CDI certification is an advantage.
• CAHIMS/CPHIMS/AHIC/SHIMA/AMIA memberships are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support implementation, configuration, and integration of the Health Information System (HIS), including PearlCare, with existing systems.
• Coordinate with IT, clinical teams, and system users to configure HIS functionalities.
• Support data migration, validation, and system interfaces to ensure data accuracy.
• Monitor HIS compliance with MOH and CBAHI standards and report gaps.
• Provide training and guidance to healthcare staff on HIS use.
• Develop user guides, training materials, and system procedures.
• Participate in HIS projects and coordinate with vendors on testing and implementation.
• Ensure data governance, privacy, cybersecurity, and information-security practices.
