BuySphere Retail Staffing represents a luxury hotel in Jeddah seeking a Head Pastry Chef to lead and elevate the pastry program. You will design high-end menus, oversee production, and mentor a pastry team in a fast-paced luxury setting.

The ideal candidate has proven leadership, master pastry techniques, and a track record of delivering creative, quality desserts while ensuring safety and cost control. Fluency in English is required; Arabic is a plus.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Head Pastry Chef or similar in luxury hotel/restaurant.
• Strong mastery of pastry techniques (chocolate, sugar, baking).
• Ability to lead and train a pastry team to maintain quality.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and cost management.

A luxury hotel in Jeddah is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head Pastry Chef to lead our pastry team The ideal candidate will have a strong background in creating and executing high-end pastry menus as well as managing a team of pastry chefs This is a great opportunity for a passionate and creative individual to showcase their skills in our renowned hotel

Responsibilities

• Develop and create high-end pastry menus for all outlets within the hotel
• Oversee the production of all pastries desserts and baked goods
• Train and manage a team of pastry chefs ensuring quality standards are met
• Maintain inventory control and cost management for all pastry ingredients
• Collaborate with other chefs to create cohesive menus
• Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are adhered to at all times
• Stay updated on industry trends and introduce new techniques to the team
• Manage ordering and receiving of necessary ingredients and supplies

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Head Pastry Chef or similar role in a luxury hotel or restaurant setting
• Strong knowledge of various pastry techniques including chocolate work sugar work baking etc
• Ability to lead and manage a team effectively
• Creative mindset with the ability to develop new and unique dishes
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with other chefs and effectively train staff members
• Familiarity with food safety regulations
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in English Arabic fluency is an asset

Education

A degree or diploma from a recognized culinary school is preferred

Salary

$1400 USD per month tax-free plus additional benefits including housing allowance medical insurance annual flight tickets home
