Job summary

SEVEN is seeking a Director - Transaction Accounting to lead AP and AR, overseeing centralized teams across entertainment complexes, cinemas and corporate operations. You will drive revenue assurance, ensure timely processing of payable and revenue transactions, and maintain robust controls in line with IFRS 16/IFRS 15 and ZATCA requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting (minimum).
• Master's degree in Finance or Accounting (preferred).
• Professional certificate in Finance or Accounting certification (CPA, SOCPA, CFA, CFP) preferable.
• 12-15 years of relevant experience with at least 5 years in a management role.
• Experience with a Big 4 audit firm (Audit and Assurance) preferred.
• Experience in high-volume AP and AR operations using ERP systems (SAP preferred). Familiarity with revenue management systems (VGS, Micros, Vista) and ZATCA e-invoicing compliance an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Direct all accounts payable activities with outsource partners.
• Direct recording and management of advance payments and prepaid expenses, ensuring proper invoice validation and balance confirmation with vendors.
• Direct recording and management of petty cash and corporate credit cards records.
• Direct the process of entry and reconciliation, ensuring AP transactions accuracy and GL integrity.
• Direct management of invoice aging reports.
• Direct periodic review and variance analysis to detect deviations and unusual operations.
• Direct all accounts receivables activities.
• Direct preparation, recording, and verification of accounts receivable documentation.
• Direct the revenue function to follow applicable policies and guidelines.
• Direct entry and reconciliation to ensure revenues are billed and service rendered.
• Direct financial transactions for promotions, discounts and commissions.
• Direct cash collection oversight and reconciliation review.
• Direct monitoring of leasing revenue with IFRS 16/IFRS 15 compliance.
• Direct ZATCA e-invoicing compliance for AR.
• Direct revenue assurance controls and system reconciliations.
• Direct daily revenue reconciliation across POS systems (VGS, Micros, Vista).
• Direct aging report preparation and allowance journal entries.
