The Head of Pass will monitor timing, order accuracy, allergens, and guest requests while maintaining cleanliness and compliance with hygiene standards. Strong communication and leadership are essential for success in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in Head of Pass or similar F&B service role.
• Strong knowledge of food service flow between kitchen and service.
• Attention to detail, speed, accuracy, and organization.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to work under pressure during busy service periods.

Responsibilities

• Manage the pass area during daily restaurant operations.
• Check all food orders before they are sent to the guest tables.
• Ensure dishes are prepared, plated, and presented to standards.

• Coordinate with kitchen, runners, waiters, and management.

Career Land Center is hiring an experienced Head of Pass for an F&B company in Kuwait.

We are looking for a detail-oriented and highly organized hospitality professional who can manage the pass area, control food flow between the kitchen and service team, and ensure every dish is delivered accurately, on time, and according to quality standards. The Head of Pass will play an important role in maintaining smooth communication, order accuracy, and service efficiency during busy operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the pass area during daily restaurant operations.

• Check all food orders before they are sent to the guest tables.

• Ensure dishes are correctly prepared, properly plated, and presented according to company standards.

• Monitor food timing, temperature, order accuracy, and service sequence.

• Coordinate closely with the kitchen team, runners, waiters, and restaurant management.

• Ensure food is delivered to the correct table in a timely and organized manner.

• Communicate clearly with chefs and service staff to avoid delays, mistakes, or missing items.

• Prioritize orders during busy periods and maintain smooth food flow from kitchen to dining area.

• Check special requests, allergens, modifiers, and guest preferences before food is released.

• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and readiness of the pass area.

• Support service recovery by quickly addressing incorrect, delayed, or incomplete orders.

• Assist with staff guidance and ensure runners and waiters follow proper pickup procedures.

• Ensure compliance with hygiene, food safety, health, safety, and company procedures.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Head of Pass, Food Expeditor, Senior Waiter, Head Waiter, Chef de Rang, or similar F&B service role.

• Strong experience in restaurants, cafés, hospitality groups, hotels, or high-volume F&B operations.

• Good knowledge of food service flow, kitchen-to-service coordination, and order management.

• Strong attention to detail, speed, accuracy, and organization.

• Excellent communication and coordination skills.

• Ability to work under pressure during busy service periods.

• Good understanding of allergens, special requests, food presentation, and service timing.

• Professional attitude, positive personality, and strong problem-solving skills.

• Experience with POS systems and order tickets is an advantage.

• Fine dining or international hospitality experience is an advantage.

• Willingness to relocate to Kuwait.
