Job summary

Alpaca is seeking a Head of Business Development, Middle East to lead commercial and strategic expansion across the region, including UAE, Saudi Arabia, and GCC. You will own relationships, deals, and ecosystem presence with fintechs, exchanges, banks, and regulators.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in business development, strategic partnerships, or institutional sales.
• Strong regional network across UAE, Saudi Arabia or GCC.
• Experience engaging regulators and government agencies.
• Understanding of brokerage infrastructure and digital assets.
• Proven track record converting relationships into opportunities.
• Excellent executive presence and communication.
• Ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-moving remote-first environment.
• Self-starter with regional ownership mindset.
• Fluency in English; Arabic preferred.
• Willingness to travel regularly.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with fintechs, exchanges, banks, primes, regulators in the Middle East.
• Interface with clients and regulators to expand partnerships.
• Lead regional GTM and ecosystem engagement with local communities.
• Translate regional customer pain points into strategic product solutions.
• Represent Alpaca at conferences and industry events.
• Deliver performance reports and insights to leadership.
