Job summary

Alpaca is expanding its brokerage infrastructure into Saudi Arabia, seeking a Brokerage Operations Manager to help build the local operating model from the ground up. You will shape procedures, controls, and workflows for Saudi equities and cash operations, partnering with product, engineering, compliance, finance, and treasury to scale the operation.

The role requires deep knowledge of Saudi markets and a builder mindset, with the ability to adapt in a rapidly evolving regulatory environment

Qualifications

• 3–7+ years in brokerage or financial services operations.
• Hands-on experience with equities, brokerage operations, cash operations, or settlements.
• Strong understanding of trade lifecycle, settlement, reconciliations, and cash movements.
• Experience developing, implementing, or maintaining SOPs, controls, or supervisory documentation.
• Familiarity with the Saudi financial markets ecosystem and market infrastructure.
• Ability to investigate operational issues and drive resolution.
• Builder mindset with interest in scalable processes.

Responsibilities

• Build and operate Saudi brokerage operations from the ground up.
• Document, implement, and improve SOPs, WSPs, and operational controls.
• Support day-to-day Saudi equities trade lifecycle and post-trade workflows.
• Manage cash and money movement processes including settlements and reconciliations.
• Monitor activity, investigate breaks, and coordinate timely resolutions.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Compliance, Finance, and Treasury.
• Design scalable operational workflows for a growing Saudi business.
• Establish controls, reporting, SLAs, and escalation frameworks.
• Identify automation opportunities to improve efficiency and reliability.
• Support audits, regulatory requests, and other initiatives.
