Job summary

Qiddiya Investment Company (QIC) in Saudi Arabia seeks a senior leader to deliver Health, Safety, and Worker Welfare (HSWW) across its active construction portfolio. The role directs safety compliance, risk management, audits, and incident response, aligning with international standards and Saudi labour laws.

You will lead site inspections, PPE governance, and corrective actions with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

Fluency in written and spoken English; Arabic preferred
Interprets complex information to guide strategy and decision‑making
Manages relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Leads teams to deliver high‑quality work and continuous improvement
Applies knowledge of national and international construction safety standards and laws
Demonstrates deep technical expertise in construction safety management
Strong incident governance and crisis management capabilities
Minimum 18 years of experience in health, safety, and worker welfare on large‑scale international construction projects, including leadership
Experience leading construction delivery safety functions within complex environments
Professional certifications or memberships preferred
Bachelor's and Master’s degrees in related fields at minimum

Responsibilities

Lead HSWW delivery inspections across active construction sites, directing site teams and ensuring standards are applied
Oversee the PPE program across all active delivery programs including procurement, distribution and compliance
Monitor corrective actions arising from inspections, audits, incidents and worker grievances with timely closure
Lead investigation of health and safety incidents with root cause analysis and escalation
Oversee corrective/preventive actions from investigations and communicate lessons learned
Lead site‑based crisis communication and regulatory reporting of serious incidents
Ensure provision of emergency medical response capability across delivery programs
Define and maintain occupational health standards and guidelines for active programs
Liaise with stakeholders to ensure safety data and incident trends are reported to leadership
