Job summary

Mnzil is seeking a finance leader to support strategic decision-making with accurate financial analysis, modelling, forecasting, and reporting. You will partner with the CEO, Chief of Staff, and CSO on budgeting, investment analysis, and fundraising support.

You will drive the implementation of financial systems, tools, and processes that improve efficiency and visibility across the company, enabling better governance, dashboards, and cash management outcomes.

Job description

Support strategic financial decision-making by providing accurate financial analysis, modelling, forecasting, and reporting. Partner with the CEO, Chief of Staff, and CSO on major financial decisions including budgeting, investment analysis, and fundraising support. Drive the implementation of financial systems, tools, and processes that improve efficiency and visibility across the company.

• Financial Reporting Timeliness — Deliver 100% of monthly and quarterly financial reports within X days of period close with zero material errors
• Financial Planning Framework — Design a financial planning and budgeting framework for all departments; framework documented with templates and adopted for all budget cycles
• Financial Reporting Dashboard — Develop an integrated financial reporting dashboard; dashboard operational with key financial metrics and automated data feeds
• Cost Optimization Programme — Build a cost optimization analysis programme across key expense categories; programme operational with documented savings recommendations
• Financial Analysis & Modelling: Sets and executes the financial analysis and modelling strategy. Defines analytical governance and standards. Drives decision-quality financial insight. Accountable to CFO for analytical rigour.
• Budgeting & Forecasting: Sets and executes the budgeting and forecasting strategy. Defines budget governance and standards. Drives forecast accuracy. Accountable for budget process.
• Systems & Process Improvement: Sets and executes the systems and process improvement strategy for finance. Defines process governance. Drives finance transformation. Accountable for process efficiency.
• Reporting & Business Partnering: Sets and executes the financial reporting and business partnering strategy. Defines reporting governance. Drives finance-business alignment. Accountable for insight quality.
• Cash Flow & Payment Management: Sets and executes the cash flow and payment management strategy. Defines treasury governance. Drives cash optimisation. Accountable for cash management outcomes.
