Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Electrical Engineering Department and monitor team performance.
• Supervise preparation, review, and approval of designs, calculations, drawings, and specs.
• Review electrical power, lighting, distribution, grounding, protection, and low-current systems.
• Ensure compliance with the Saudi Building Code and applicable standards.
• Coordinate electrical designs with architectural, structural, mechanical and other disciplines.
• Provide technical supervision during project execution and resolve technical issues.
• Review and approve materials, equipment and shop drawings within authority.
• Monitor deliverables, project schedules, budgets and quality standards.
• Evaluate team performance and improve departmental procedures.
• Coordinate with project managers, clients, consultants and contractors on technical matters.

Job Purpose

Managing the company’s electrical engineering operations and overseeing the preparation and review of designs, drawings, and technical specifications. Ensuring the quality of engineering deliverables and compliance with project requirements, approved codes, and standards, while providing technical support to design and supervision teams and efficiently meeting client requirements with high-quality results.

Qualifications & Experience

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from a recognized university. A Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Engineering Project Management is preferred.
• The applicant must be a Saudi national.

Experience:

• Minimum of 10–12 years of professional experience in the design and supervision of electrical works for engineering projects, including at least 3 years in managing or leading engineering teams. Advanced experience in design and technical specification reviews, engineering operations management, and multidisciplinary coordination is required.

Skills

• Ability to lead engineering teams, assign tasks, monitor performance, and manage priorities.
• Strong skills in technical review and auditing, electrical design, project and priority management, problem-solving, decision-making, multidisciplinary coordination, and communication with clients and stakeholders.
• Proficiency in relevant engineering software and familiarity with the Saudi Building Code and applicable technical standards.
• Registration with the Saudi Council of Engineers and possession of the appropriate professional classification in accordance with applicable regulatory requirements.
• Advanced knowledge of electrical systems design, including power networks, lighting, grounding, protection systems, and low‑current systems.
