Job summary

Flip Retail is seeking a Chef (Hot & Cold) to craft healthy, delicious meals and lead a kitchen team. You will plan menus, estimate weekly material needs, and ensure compliance with food safety standards.

You will mentor staff, monitor performance, and help control costs while maintaining consistent taste and quality across dishes. A Diploma/Bachelor in Cookery and relevant certification are preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Cookery.
• American Culinary Federation certificate.
• 2 years of experience in a resort or restaurant as a Chef or Cook.
• Understanding of baking and pastry techniques.
• Excellent customer care, communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare healthy and tasty meals meeting restaurant standards.
• Train and mentor kitchen staff to maintain high quality.
• Plan daily menus and manage weekly food material quantities.
• Ensure sanitation and proper equipment maintenance.
• Assist in budgeting and cost management for meals.
• Assign tasks to cooking and food service personnel as needed.
