Emdad By Elm is seeking a hands-on Software Tester with strong experience in functional, API, and integration testing to improve product quality across web apps and services. You will design test scenarios, execute tests, and report defects with clear steps and impacts.

You will collaborate with developers, analysts, and DevOps, participating in Agile ceremonies and contributing to test automation within CI/CD pipelines to ensure robust releases.

Qualificações

• Proven experience in functional, API, and integration testing.
• Experience in SQL validation and data integrity checks.
• Strong defect tracking and reporting skills.
• Familiarity with Agile/DevOps practices.

Responsabilidades

• Review requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria to identify risks.
• Design and execute various test types including end-to-end testing.
• Perform API testing using Postman, SoapUI, or similar.
• Validate backend data with SQL queries.
• Test web apps, integrations, services, and business workflows.
• Report defects with steps, evidence, severity, and impact.
• Maintain test cases, evidence, regression suites, and traceability.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies like planning, refinement, daily standups, retrospectives.
• Support release validation and communicate testing risks.
• Contribute to test automation using Playwright, Robot, Cypress, Appium or similar.
• Support continuous testing and CI/CD automation.
• Collaborate with developers, BAs, product owners, DevOps and stakeholders to improve quality.
