Job summary

Qualifications

• >5 years in software testing (QA)
• >Strong experience in API testing (Postman or similar)
• >Hands-on test automation (Selenium, Cypress, or similar)
• >Proficiency in API testing and validation
• >Experience with test automation tools and frameworks
• >Good understanding of SDLC and STLC
• >Experience in Agile/Scrum environments
• >Basic understanding of databases and SQL
• >Experience with bug tracking and test management tools (e.g., JIRA)

Responsibilities

• Analyze and review requirements to ensure they are clear and testable.
• Prepare test strategies and test plans.
• Design and write clear and structured test cases and test scenarios.
• Execute manual testing (Functional, Regression, Integration, and System Testing).
• Perform API testing and validate responses.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks.
• Log, track, and follow up on defects with the development team until closure.
• Perform re-testing and regression testing after fixes.
• Collaborate with development and business teams to ensure product quality.
• Prepare and share regular reports on testing progress and product quality.
• Ensure adherence to QA standards and best practices.
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) when needed.
• Mentor and guide junior testers and review their work.
