Job summary

PPOAR in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia is seeking an experienced Waiter to join our team and deliver exceptional dining experiences. You will greet guests, take orders, and use a POS system to process transactions while ensuring accuracy and friendliness.

As part of our service team, you will maintain a clean dining area, answer guest questions about the menu, and respond professionally to feedback, all while observing health, safety, and hygiene standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in restaurant or customer service preferred.
• Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
• Willingness to learn new techniques or technology related to the job.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests as they arrive, take orders accurately, use a POS system to complete transactions, serve food and beverages according to food safety standards and guidelines
• Ensure all dishes are prepared as per guest requests
• Maintain cleanliness of the restaurant dining area
• Manage guest complaints in a professional manner
• Follow up with guests after their meals to ensure satisfaction with the dining experience
• Respond promptly to customer inquiries
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures related to health, safety, and hygiene standards
