Job summary

Hadya Group is seeking an Order Taker for our busy Food & Beverage department in Jeddah. You will greet guests, take and process orders accurately using the POS, and coordinate with the kitchen for timely delivery. The role emphasizes friendly service and product knowledge to drive guest satisfaction.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma and 1–3 years in food service, with strong communication and the potential for growth into supervisory roles or specialized hospitality training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–3 years of experience in a food service or hospitality environment.
• Proficient in point-of-sale systems and order processing technology.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of food and beverage pairings and menu items.
• Previous experience in a fast-paced restaurant setting.
• Leadership experience or training in customer service.
• Additional certifications in food safety or hospitality management.

Responsibilities

• Greet and engage customers in a friendly manner ensuring a positive dining experience
• Accurately take and process food and beverage orders using the point-of-sale system
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of orders
• Identify opportunities for menu improvements based on customer feedback and preferences
• Train and mentor new team members on best practices in customer service and order processing
