Job summary

Unknown entity is seeking a Corporate Communications Manager to build and lead a new communications function in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role covers strategy, narrative, governance, and external communications for a major industrial project with international visibility.

You will own the corporate narrative, oversee media relationships, and develop brand assets while coordinating with shareholders and executive leadership. Relocation support is offered as part of the package.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in corporate communications, incl. at least 3 years leading a function.
• Strong track record with commercial and corporate outcomes.
• Experience building or rebuilding a communications department from scratch.
• Experience in securities disclosure obligations and regulatory timing.
• Heavy industry experience in metals, mining, energy, chemicals, or related infra.
• Proven success communicating major capital projects through construction to launch or transitions.
• Crisis leadership: led reputational, environmental, or operational crises.
• Proficiency in Arabic and English; able to draft publication-ready content without agencies.
• Based in Riyadh with willingness to travel to sites.

Responsibilities

• Develop strategy and narrative architecture for global markets and launch sequencing.
• Build media and reputation by creating regional and international relationships from scratch.
• Oversee brand and digital assets: bilingual website, identity, calendars, assets library.
• Serve as trusted advisor to executives; draft speeches, statements, and investor materials.
• Coordinate with shareholder communications and IR across jurisdictions on disclosures.
• Create multichannel internal/site communications for a multilingual workforce.
• Establish crisis frameworks, holding statements, and drills pre-launch.
• Hire the team, manage budgets, and select agency partners.
• Align equity story with corporate narrative for capital market readiness.
