Swissôtel Al Maqam in Saudi Arabia seeks a detail‑oriented Accounting/Finance professional reporting to the Financial Controller to oversee cashiering and daily financial processes.

The role requires a Bachelor or Diploma in Accounting/Finance, SOCPA membership, and at least 1 year of similar experience, with strong English and MS Excel skills for reporting and consolidations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor/Diploma in Accounting / Finance.
• SOCPA membership.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar capacity.
• Good reading, writing and oral proficiency in English language.
• Proficient in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint and relevant accounting systems.

Responsabilités

• Collect and check daily remittances in the presence of a witness.
• Ensure sufficient change for all cashiers.
• Update foreign exchange rate and make bank deposits as required.
• Prepare General Cashier Daily Report.
• Reimburse Front Office cashiers for disbursement.
• Make petty cash payments on designated days.
• Balance cash fund daily.
• Conduct surprise float count on all cashier holding floats, including non-operation cashiers.
• Maintain over and short records for each cashier and report to Financial Controller.
• Update all cashiers float record monthly.
• Keep track of casual labor, valet dockets, official receipts book and movement records.
• Any other assigned duties.

Job Description

Reporting to the Financial Controller, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:

• Collect and check daily remittances in the presence of a witness.
• Ensure sufficient change for all cashiers.
• Update foreign exchange rate and make bank deposits as and when required
• Prepare General Cashier Daily Report
• Reimburse Front Office cashiers for disbursement made
• Make petty cash payments on designated days
• Balance cash fund daily
• Conduct surprise float count on all cashier holding floats, including non-operation ‘cashiers’ like People & Culture and Security
• Maintain over and short records for each cashier and report evidence of review to Financial Controller
• Update all cashiers float record on a monthly basis
• Keep track of casual labor, valet dockets, official receipt book and movement records
• Any other assigned duties.

Qualifications

• Bachelor/Diploma in Accounting / Finance
• SOCPA membership
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar capacity
• Good reading, writing and oral proficiency in English language
• Proficient in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint and relevant accounting systems
