Job summary

Golden Elite Catering Services - GECS is seeking a General Accountant to manage daily accounting activities, maintain accurate financial records, and prepare financial reports in Riyadh. The role requires 3-5 years of experience and hands-on Odoo ERP familiarity.

The position involves VAT processing under ZATCA regulations, month-end closings, and collaboration with various departments to support financial and operational goals in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience as a General Accountant.
• Hands-on experience with Odoo ERP is required.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, VAT, and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Professional certifications such as SOCPA, ACCA, CMA, or CPA are an advantage.
• Fluent in Arabic and English (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

• Record and maintain daily financial transactions in the accounting system.
• Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end closing activities.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow.
• Prepare and submit VAT returns in compliance with ZATCA regulations.
• Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Maintain the general ledger and ensure the accuracy of financial records.
• Process employee expense claims and petty cash transactions.
• Manage fixed assets and depreciation schedules.
• Utilize Odoo ERP to process accounting transactions and generate financial reports.
• Support internal and external audits.
• Collaborate with other departments on financial and operational matters
