Job summary

Gulf Makers in Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia seeks an accountant to join the finance team. You will handle general ledger, journal entries, AP/AR, bank reconciliations, and monthly closings using Odoo ERP.

Requirements: about five years of accounting experience, strong Excel, and knowledge of Saudi VAT/ZATCA. A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred.

Starting salary SAR 4,500 per month with accommodation and transport benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Approximately five years of professional accounting experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline preferred.
• Mandatory practical working knowledge of Odoo ERP accounting modules.
• Strong understanding of general accounting principles and financial procedures.

Responsibilities

• Manage general ledger accounting and reconcile account balances.
• Prepare and record journal entries in accordance with procedures.
• Maintain accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.
• Prepare bank reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
• Verify invoices, payments, expenses, and supporting documents.
• Use Odoo ERP accounting modules to process transactions.
• Prepare financial reports and support internal reporting.
• Assist with monthly and annual financial closing activities.
• Maintain organized financial documentation and records.
• Support expense management and payment processing.
• Assist with Saudi VAT and ZATCA compliance as applicable.
• Use Microsoft Excel to organize financial data and analysis.
• Identify discrepancies and help resolve accounting issues.
