Job summary

Kertzens Hospitality, Kaynuna Beach Escape in Yanbu, Saudi Arabia, is seeking a General Accountant to manage financial records for a vibrant beachfront destination. The role focuses on accurate reporting, accounts payable/receivable, payroll assistance, and budget forecasting within a dynamic hospitality environment.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and has experience in accounting software and Excel.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
Proven experience as a General Accountant in hospitality or similar.
Knowledge of Saudi accounting standards and tax regulations preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
Fluent in English; Arabic is a plus.

Responsibilities

Maintain accurate financial records for the hotel transactions.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports (income statements, balance sheets, cash flow).
Monitor accounts payable and receivable; ensure timely payments and collections.
Assist in payroll processing and related statutory compliance.
Reconcile bank statements and ledgers; handle financial data confidentially.
Support budget planning, cost analysis and forecasting.

Set along the pristine shores of Yanbu, Kaynuna Beach Escape is a vibrant beachfront lifestyle destination designed for relaxation, entertainment, and community living.

Kaynuna Beach Escape is a bold, high-energy beachfront destination spanning 30,000 sqm, designed to deliver unforgettable seaside experiences. The venue features 150 sun loungers, 15 spacious private cabanas (50 sqm each for 7–8 guests), a vibrant 200-cover restaurant, a stylish ground-floor shisha lounge, and a lively rooftop bar and terrace connected across two entertainment levels. Enhanced by a private jetty for sea-taxi arrivals, landscaped outdoor spaces, a sports hub and playground, and a year-round calendar of events, Kaynuna offers a dynamic, lifestyle-driven environment where hospitality, entertainment, and coastal energy meet.

About The Role

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Maintain accurate financial records and ensure proper bookkeeping for all hotel transactions.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.
Monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.
Assist in payroll processing and related statutory compliance.
Reconcile bank statements, ledgers, and other financial documents regularly.
Support budget preparation, cost analysis, and financial forecasting activities.
Ensure compliance with Saudi Arabian accounting standards, tax regulations, and hotel policies.
Assist with internal and external audits by providing required documentation and explanations.
Collaborate with department heads to monitor financial performance and control costs.
Maintain confidentiality of financial information and handle sensitive data responsibly.

Experience & Skills

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Proven experience as a General Accountant, preferably in the hospitality industry.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and financial reporting.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office (Excel in particular).
Attention to detail, accuracy, and strong organizational skills.
Good communication skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
Fluent in English; Arabic is an advantage.
