Job summary

Kerten Hospitality KH is seeking an Accounts Receivable specialist to oversee daily AR operations for its AlUla property, ensuring accurate invoicing for guests, corporate clients, and agents. You will monitor aging, resolve disputes, and collaborate with Front Office and Sales to capture revenue accurately.

The role requires experience in hospitality AP/AR, familiarity with hotel systems, and a proactive approach to process improvements.

Qualifications

• Experience in accounts payable roles, preferably in hospitality.
• Understanding of basic accounting principles and financial reporting for hotel environments.
• Familiarity with hotel systems such as Opera PMS and Sun System is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of the Accounts Receivable function, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance.
• Issue invoices to guests, companies, and travel agents in a timely manner.
• Monitor aging reports, follow up on outstanding payments, and resolve billing issues or disputes.
• Ensure accurate posting of payments, credit notes, adjustments, and maintain complete receivable records.
• Coordinate with the Front Office, Sales, Events, and other departments to ensure accurate billing and revenue capture.
• Assist with month-end closing procedures, prepare reports, and support internal and external audits.
• Lead, train, and mentor Accounts Receivable team members while maintaining high performance and professional standards.
• Address staff concerns promptly and foster a collaborative and service-focused work environment.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and business partners, resolving inquiries professionally.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and compliance.
• Monitor financial performance, stay up to date with industry best practices, and recommend operational improvements.
• Represent the hotel through community initiatives, partnerships, and charitable activities that strengthen the organization's reputation.

About The Property Cloud 7 Residence AlUla AlUla is the region’s newest destination, offering guests the flexibility of short or long stays in an affordable lodge-style setting, perfectly positioned to explore the wonders of AlUla, home to world-class heritage sites, date farms, and a vibrant community of artisans, adventure guides, and genuinely hospitable local families. The property features 301 secluded bungalows, a range of F&B outlets, co-working spaces, and fitness centre including a swimming pool, paddle / multi-purpose court, and outdoor yoga and Pilates areas.

Location AlUla is one of the seven cities in the Medina Region, located in the north-western part of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, covering an area of approximately 29,000 square kilometres. About The Role

Experience & Skills

• Previous experience in accounts payable roles, preferably within the hospitality industry, with a strong understanding of invoice processing and payment procedures.
• Understands basic accounting principles and financial reporting, particularly as they relate to accounts payable functions in a hotel environment.
• Familiarity with hotel systems such as Opera PMS and Sun System is a plus.
• Familiar with regulatory requirements and industry standards governing accounts payable processes in the hotel industry, including tax regulations and internal controls.
• Proficiency in financial reporting and analysis, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, coupled with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
