Job summary

Abacus is seeking a seasoned Solution Architect to lead Google Cloud solutions. You will design scalable GCP architectures, deliver PoCs, and draft technical proposals. Collaboration with sales and delivery teams will ensure successful transitions from pre-sales to implementation.

The role emphasizes security, cost optimization, and ongoing thought leadership. With 7+ years in solution architecture, you will drive client engagements, create architectural diagrams, and stay current with GCP

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in Solution Architecture.
• Deep hands-on knowledge of GCP services (Compute Engine, GKE, Cloud Run, BigQuery, Pub/Sub, VPC, IAM, KMS, Security Command Center).
• Experience in Apigee API Management and creating PoCs, demos, and architecture diagrams.
• Understanding of cloud networking, security, backup, disaster recovery, and cost optimization.
• Experience in API proxy design, policies, and flow; familiarity with Apigee X & Apigee Hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Engage clients through discovery sessions, workshops, and deep-dives to capture needs.
• Design scalable, secure, and cost-efficient GCP architectures and create architecture diagrams and PoCs.
• Support bids with technical inputs for proposals, RFPs, pricing models, and API management strategies.
• Collaborate with Sales, Delivery, and Practice Leads for smooth handover to implementation.
• Stay updated on GCP releases, represent Abacus at events, and share market insights.
