Infinite pl is a digital-led tech firm focused on digital logistics platforms and cloud-based solutions. We seek a Cloud Support Engineer to maintain and troubleshoot GCP production services, ensuring high availability, security, and recoverability.

The role emphasizes monitoring, incident response, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and implement runbooks and recovery procedures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or equivalent.
• ITIL Foundation is an advantage.
• Experience supporting business-critical production environments.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and support GCP production infrastructure.
• Perform daily health checks across cloud infrastructure.
• Investigate infrastructure-related incidents and service degradation.
• Troubleshoot connectivity, VM, storage, IAM, firewall, networking, and resource-utilization issues.
• Review GCP Cloud Logging and Cloud Monitoring alerts and logs.
• Execute approved operational runbooks and recovery procedures.
• Support incident resolution and participate in root-cause analysis.
• Coordinate with application, database, network, security, and cloud engineering teams during incidents.
• Support backup, recovery, capacity, and availability activities.
• Maintain infrastructure operational documentation and troubleshooting procedures.
• Escalate defects or infrastructure changes requiring engineering intervention.
• Support production changes and perform post-change validation.
