Bachelor's degree or equivalent in CS/IT/Engineering
Google Associate Cloud Engineer certification preferred
ITIL Foundation is an advantage
Experience supporting production environments

Responsibilities

Monitor and support GCP production infrastructure
Perform daily health checks across cloud infrastructure
Investigate incidents and service degradation
Troubleshoot connectivity, VM, storage, IAM, firewall, networking, and resource-utilization issues
Review Cloud Logging and Cloud Monitoring alerts and logs
Execute runbooks and recovery procedures
Support incident resolution and root-cause analysis
Coordinate with application, database, network, security, and cloud teams
Support backup, recovery, capacity and availability activities
Maintain infrastructure documentation and troubleshooting procedures
Escalate defects or changes requiring engineering intervention
Support production changes and post-change validation

Role Overview:

We are looking for a Cloud Support Engineer to provide day-to-day operational support, monitoring, and troubleshooting of GCP infrastructure supporting production services. The role ensures cloud services remain available, secure, properly configured, and recoverable.

Key Responsibilities:

Monitor and support GCP production infrastructure, including Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, IAM, VPC, load balancers, and related services.
Perform daily health checks across cloud infrastructure.
Investigate infrastructure-related incidents and service degradation.
Troubleshoot connectivity, VM, storage, IAM, firewall, networking, and resource-utilization issues.
Review GCP Cloud Logging and Cloud Monitoring alerts and logs.
Execute approved operational runbooks and recovery procedures.
Support incident resolution and participate in root-cause analysis.
Coordinate with application, database, network, security, and cloud engineering teams during incidents.
Support backup, recovery, capacity, and availability activities.
Maintain infrastructure operational documentation and troubleshooting procedures.
Escalate defects or infrastructure changes requiring engineering intervention.
Support production changes and perform post-change validation.
