Job summary

GE Vernova in Saudi Arabia seeks a Capacity & Capability Project Leader to drive repairs capacity, capital planning, and SQDC improvements across global operations. You will lead cross-functional teams, manage capex and schedules, and ensure on-time execution with rigorous risk management.

You will coordinate with AMRT, Sourcing, and capex teams, oversee installation and qualification of equipment, and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards while advancing continuous improvement

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, operations management, business administration, or diploma with 5 years min in gas turbine repair/services.
• Min 5 years experience in repair operations, capacity planning, and CAPEX management in manufacturing or service environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead process repair capacity analysis and project planning to meet capacity objectives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align resources, investment strategies, and long-term planning.
• Develop and manage detailed project plans with scope, schedule, milestones, and budgets.
• Lead capex project planning and execution with on-time delivery, budget control.
• Coordinate with AMRT, global sourcing, and capex teams for equipment requisition, sourcing, and delivery.
• Support repair facility expansion and site preparation.
• Oversee equipment installation, start-up, and qualification to GEV standards; document changes.
• Ensure compliance with policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements; lead MOC.
• Support shop component repair qualifications with PQE/ME.
• Participate in Kaizen/AWO events and lead Kaizen team.
• Provide regular project reporting to leadership.
• Lead Gas Turbine Process qualifications such as coating, heat treatment & welding.
