Job summary

ngdc is a gas distribution company seeking a Mechanical/Instrumentation Engineer to review design drawings and vendor data for distribution projects in Saudi Arabia. You will monitor operations, respond to emergencies, and support maintenance planning and technical meetings.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in oil and gas distribution, familiarity with Saudi Aramco standards, strong English, and proven ability to review technical documents and install or troubleshoot metering, SCADA, and

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years relevant industrial experience in oil & gas distribution projects and operation/maintenance.
Design experience is required.
Familiarity with Saudi Aramco Engineering Standards and procedures will be a consideration.
Knowledge in reviewing technical documents including project design drawings, equipment specifications, vendor data and offers.
Capability to install, maintain and troubleshoot gas metering systems, SCADA, gas leak detection, and cathodic protection.
Computer literacy is a mandatory requirement.
English proficiency, both written and oral, is a must.
Experience in the field of Oil and Gas Distribution Company.

Responsibilities

Review/evaluate technical documents including project design drawings, equipment specifications; technical bid, vendor data/ information and offers.
Promptly respond to incoming correspondences.
Assist in monitoring the day-to-day operation of gas distribution and handling 24-hour emergency responses.
Perform the required tasks concerning Operation and Maintenance of the facilities in an efficient and cost-effective manner.
Prepare/update the schedule & execute Routine Maintenance and Preventive Maintenance activities.
Attend the design progress review and technical meetings, as required.
Perform all other tasks assigned to him.
