Job summary

Woopel in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, is seeking a skilled Gardener for a full-time role. You will maintain and improve outdoor spaces, plan planting, monitor plant health, and support larger landscaping projects. Expect 40 hours per week Sunday to Thursday, with no accommodation provided.

Requirements include at least 2 years of professional gardening experience, knowledge of plant care and tools, and good English communication skills (Arabic a plus). The position offers competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience as a Gardener in a professional setting.
• Knowledge of plant care techniques and gardening tools/equipment.
• Physically fit to perform tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• Good communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus).
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• African nationality preferred (open to all nationalities).

Responsibilities

• Plan and maintain gardens, including planting, watering, weeding, pruning and fertilizing.
• Ensure the health and well-being of plants by monitoring for pests and diseases and taking appropriate action.
• Maintain lawns by mowing, edging, and applying fertilizers or pesticides as needed.
• Install new plants, flowers or trees as directed by the client.
• Clean up debris and maintain garden equipment.
• Keep track of garden supplies and inform supervisor when additional items are needed.
• Work with other team members to complete larger projects such as landscaping or irrigation system installation.
