Job summary

Woopel in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia is seeking a skilled Gardener to maintain our outdoor areas. This contract role requires fluent English, strong physical stamina, and prior gardening experience to manage plants, lawns, and textures of landscapes.

You will prune, water, fertilize, and apply treatments while coordinating with the team to design new garden features. Accommodation is provided and visa sponsorship is offered, with opportunities for growth within the company.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Gardener or in a similar role is preferred.
• Knowledge of different types of plants, their care requirements, and potential diseases or pests that may affect them.
• Ability to operate gardening equipment such as lawn mowers, trimmers, and hand tools safely and effectively.
• Physical stamina to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions closely.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
• Egyptian nationality with valid passport.
• Freshers with passion for gardening are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

• Plant, prune, and maintain trees, flowers, and shrubs according to seasonal changes
• Water plants regularly and ensure they receive adequate sunlight
• Apply fertilizers, pesticides, and other treatments as needed
• Mow lawns and trim edges using appropriate tools
• Remove weeds and any other debris from outdoor areas
• Monitor plant health and make recommendations for improvements or replacements as necessary
• Keep outdoor areas clean and tidy at all times
• Collaborate with other team members to plan and design new garden areas or enhancements
