Job summary

Zahid Group in Jeddah is seeking a Fleet Workshop Manager to oversee day-to-day operations of the workshop and supervise staff, ensuring regulatory compliance for all trucks.

The ideal candidate has at least 5 years in a similar role within logistics or transport, a degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering or automotive technology, and strong skills in diagnostics, workshop systems, and maintenance planning.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in fleet workshop management, preferably in logistics or transport.
• Strong technical and analytical skills in workshop operations and maintenance coordination.
• Ability to read and interpret repair manuals and technical guides.

Responsibilities

• Manage day to day operations of the workshop and supervise workshop staff
• Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance schedules for all fleet vehicles
• Ensure all trucks comply with regulatory standards
• Coordinate with procurement for spare parts and consumables in a cost effective and timely manner
• Monitor maintenance performance metrics such as downtime, repeat repairs, and part usage
• Implement and enforce safety, housekeeping and environmental standards in the workshop
• Maintain accurate records of repairs, service and inspections
• Provide technical support in the evaluation of fleet condition, replacement planning and procurement
