Job summary

Atkins Realis Group is seeking a senior Fit-Out Construction Engineer to oversee interior fit-out works on large-scale mixed-use developments and theme park projects in Saudi Arabia. You will supervise contractors, review submittals, coordinate with architects and engineers, and ensure QA/QC and safety standards are met from construction through handover.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Architectural, Construction Engineering or related discipline.
• 10+ years of experience in construction and site supervision consultancy.
• Experience on mixed-use developments, entertainment destinations, theme parks, hospitality, retail and large-scale commercial projects.
• Experience with engineering consultancies on site supervision assignments.
• Proficiency in architectural finishes, fit-out systems, FF&E installations and related drawings.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and inspect fit-out construction activities to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications and contract requirements.
• Monitor installation of architectural finishes, joinery, ceilings, flooring, partitions, themed elements, FF&E and specialty fit-out works.
• Review material submittals, shop drawings, method statements and RFIs submitted by contractors.
• Coordinate with architects, MEP engineers, contractors and specialist vendors to resolve site issues.
• Conduct regular site inspections and prepare observation reports, NCRs and snagging lists.
• Verify work progress and provide recommendations for contractor payment applications.
• Ensure QA/QC procedures are implemented throughout construction.
• Monitor contractor compliance with project schedules and approved construction methodologies.
• Witness testing, commissioning and handover activities.
• Ensure compliance with Saudi regulations, project specs, health and safety requirements and industry best practices.
• Attend progress meetings and prepare technical reports for the Resident Engineer and Project Manager.

The Fit Out Construction Engineer will represent the Consultant on-site and oversee the execution of interior fit-out works across large-scale mixed-use developments and theme park projects. About you

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Architectural Engineering, Construction Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 10+ years of experience in construction and site supervision consultancy.
• Proven experience in mixed-use developments, entertainment destinations, theme parks, hospitality, retail, and large-scale commercial projects.
• Previous experience working with engineering consultancies on site supervision assignments.
• Strong knowledge of architectural finishes, fit-out systems, themed construction, and FF amp E installations.
• Familiarity with international construction standards and Saudi Arabian regulations.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and project management software.

Preferred Experience

• Experience on major KSA giga projects, theme parks, entertainment venues, resorts, or mixed-use developments.
• Background working with international consultancy firms.
• Experience overseeing multiple fit-out packages within complex developments.
