Job summary

Manpower Resources India Pvt. Ltd. is assisting a large steel conglomerate in Saudi Arabia to recruit a Finishing Engineer Operations (Rebar - Rolling Mill).

The role manages finishing end operations of the hot rolling mill to ensure final product quality, dimensional accuracy, cooling, cutting, and dispatch readiness. You will oversee finishing mill operations, monitor rolling parameters, ensure cooling bed efficiency, supervise cutting/shearing, and coordinate with operations, maintenance,

Qualifications

• Experience in finishing end operations of hot rolling mill.
• Knowledge of dimensional accuracy, cooling, cutting and dispatch readiness.
• Exposure to safety standards and SOP compliance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee finishing mill operations to achieve required size, shape and surface quality.
• Monitor and control rolling parameters (temperature, speed, tension) for consistent output.
• Ensure efficient cooling bed operation with proper bar spreading and uniform cooling.
• Supervise cutting/shearing processes to meet length and quality specs.
• Ensure compliance with product quality standards and minimize defects/rejections.
• Optimize yield, productivity, and finishing efficiency.
• Coordinate with operations, maintenance, QA/QC, and dispatch teams for smooth workflow.
• Identify and resolve process deviations, bottlenecks, and equipment issues.
• Enforce safety standards and SOP compliance in the finishing area.
• Monitor equipment condition and support preventive and breakdown maintenance.
