Job summary

Fraser Suites Riyadh, part of Fraser Hospitality, is seeking a Finance Manager to lead financial performance, cash flow management, cost control and risk practices for the Riyadh property.

You will work with the General Manager and other senior leaders to prepare budgets, forecast cash flows, manage fixed assets and deliver timely monthly financial reports to Corporate Office and the Owner. Arabic fluency and accounting qualifications are required.

Qualifications

• Arabic language fluency is mandatory.
• Degree in accounting with CPA certification.
• Experience in hotel finance management preferred.

• Control operating expenses to achieve financial objectives.

We are looking for a Finance Manager to join Fraser Suites Riyadh and actively manage and report on the financial performance of the business with particular emphasis on cash flow management, cost control, profit enhancement and risk management practices.

What you'll be doing as a Finance Manager:

• In consultation with the General Manager and Director of Sales & Marketing, prepare the financial budget for Fraser Suites Riyadh and submit to Corporate Office and the Owner in the specified format.
• Implement measures to control operating expenses to achieve financial objectives.
• Forecast and manage cash flows to ensure the efficient use of capital to meet business requirements.
• Manage the fixed asset register and implement measures to control the movement and/or disposal of assets.
• Liaise with internal/external legal advisors, consultants and regulatory authorities to ensure operational and legal compliance in all business dealings.
• Prepare and submit monthly financial and management reports on behalf of Fraser Suites Riyadh to Corporate Office and the Owner on a timely basis.
• Conduct detailed business forecast analysis.
• Ensure effective systems are implemented to manage accounts payable, accounts receivable and payroll functions and the staff engaged to perform these duties.
• Preparation of the bank reconciliation on a daily and monthly basis.
• Ensure all Fraser Suites Riyadh and Frasers Hospitality policies and procedures as they apply to the financial operations of the business are adhered to at all times.
• Maintain a continuous improvement regime to ensure best practice measures are employed in all finance department related procedures.
• Actively manage all processes in compliance with the company's Enterprise-wide Risk Management practices with specific emphasis on crisis management, business continuity and disaster recovery processes as they apply to the Finance Department.
• Implement and maintain systems that uphold the security and control of information, assets, cash and receivables belonging to the business.

What we're looking for:

• The ability to speak Arabic is a mandatory requirement.
• Formal qualifications at tertiary level to degree standard in accountancy and completion of CPA.
• Prior experience within a hotel finance department at management or senior management level.
  Knowledge of KSA financial regulations and laws.
• Experience working within 5-star hotels within KSA is preferred.
• Strong working knowledge of KSA Zakat tax regulations.
• Confident in managing government tax audits.
  
• Competency in ACCPAC, SAP, HIS Epitome, Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Vingcard and related hospitality proprietary software packages.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong organisational and work coordinating skills combined with an ability to handle multiple assignments and projects simultaneously.
• Able to work with minimal supervision.
• Ethical, honest and possessing integrity.
• Ability to work to deadlines.
