Job summary

John Crane in Yanbu is seeking a Field Service Engineer to install and service mechanical seals and rotating equipment at customer sites. You will deliver on-site diagnostics, perform repairs, and support shutdowns to ensure optimal equipment performance.

We require 5+ years of hands-on engineering and field service experience, strong technical knowledge of our product portfolio, and the ability to work effectively in multinational teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or closely related field.
• Over 5 years of hands-on experience in engineering and field service with focus on mechanical seals and refinery rotating equipment.
• Proven ability to perform in proactive, multinational, and multicultural environments.
• Strong technical knowledge of John Crane’s product portfolio, or ability to rapidly acquire product knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Install and troubleshoot mechanical seals and rotating equipment at customer sites.
• Produce comprehensive seal observation reports with detailed analysis and recommendations.
• Perform on-site and in-workshop repairs with precision and expertise; support shutdowns and commissioning.
