Job summary

Awtad is seeking a qualified Facility Engineer in Riyadh to oversee maintenance, operation, and improvement of our facilities. You will inspect equipment, coordinate repairs, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance across building systems.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, at least 4 years in facility management, strong problem-solving skills, and fluency in Arabic and English.

• Minimum 4 years in facility management or similar role.
• Knowledge of building systems and maintenance best practices.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.

Awtad is currently seeking a skilled Facility Engineer to join our team. As a Facility Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance, operation, and improvement of our facilities. Your role will involve performing inspections, troubleshooting equipment issues, coordinating repairs and maintenance activities, and ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations. Additionally, you will be responsible for identifying and implementing strategies to improve the efficiency and functionality of our facilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in facility management, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular inspections of facilities and equipment to identify maintenance and repair needs
• Coordinate and oversee maintenance and repair activities, including routine maintenance, repairs, and upgrades
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to ensure the ongoing reliability and safety of our facilities
• Create and maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards
• Identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements in facility operations

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
