Job summary

AS Contracting Co. seeks an experienced Facilities Manager to oversee all building-related activities and ensure safety and optimal operation of infrastructure in Jeddah.

You will lead maintenance planning, manage staff and external contractors, control costs, coordinate space usage, and monitor health, safety and compliance to keep the workplace productive and secure. Strong leadership, communication and analytical skills are essential to forecast needs and optimize resources in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• Must have proven experience in facilities management or similar role
• Strong knowledge of technical/engineering operations and FM best practices
• Understanding of basic accounting and finance principles
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent organizational and leadership abilities
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate all installations (telecommunications, heating, electricity, etc.) and refurbishments
• Manage upkeep of equipment and supplies to meet health and safety standards
• Inspect building structures to determine repairs or renovations
• Review utilities consumption and strive to minimize costs
• Supervise facilities staff and external contractors
• Control activities like parking, waste disposal, building security
• Allocate office space according to needs
• Handle insurance plans and service contracts
• Keep financial and non-financial records
• Perform analysis and forecasting
