Job summary

Four Points by Sheraton in Riyadh seeks an Engineering Manager to lead all maintenance and safety operations, oversee the budget and capital projects, and ensure regulatory compliance. You will direct emergency response, optimize plant performance, and supervise the engineering team to protect assets and guest safety.

The role requires strong HVAC/electrical/plumbing technical skills, a proactive management approach, and a focus on energy conservation and preventative maintenance to deliver

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; 4 years experience in engineering and maintenance; technical training in HVAC-R/electrical/plumbing.
• 2-year degree from an accredited university in Building and Construction, Engineering, Mechanics, or related major; 2 years experience in the field; technical training in HVAC-R/electrical/plumbing.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Engineering in the absence of the Director of Engineering.
• Manage physical plant including equipment, refrigeration, HVAC, plumbing, water treatment, electrical and life safety systems.
• Maintain equipment for optimum effectiveness, efficiency and safety.
• Establish and manage a rooms maintenance program.
• Ensure compliance with Engineering policies and procedures.
• Control department expenses to meet budget goals.
• Select and order new equipment, supplies, and furnishings.
• Inspect facilities to determine work required and arrange for services.
• Supervise day-to-day Engineering operations.
