Responsibilities

• Reviews conformance with SAO conditions and recommends modifications.
• Outlines service requirements such as drafting, surveying, materials take-off, requisitioning and clerical services; coordinates progress and reviews accuracy.
• Develops cost estimates for engineering, labor, equipment and materials; prepares expenditure requests and supporting detail.
• Assists other engineers in problem solving outside their specialty.
• Initiates reports, collects performance data and conducts studies related to equipment development, procurement or adaptation.
• Resolves engineering problems by applying codes and standards and preparing diagrams and calculations.
• Develops design basis by analyzing operating requirements, process and economic considerations for proposals.
• Follows construction progress to assure conformance with engineering requirements; recommends design changes and cost controls.

Performs engineering analysis, development, design, coordinate and control of assigned projects within any one of the recognized engineering fields. Job requires that incumbents have training, knowledge and ability in his engineering specialty, a working knowledge of related engineering fields, applicable codes and standards.

Scope:

Works on duties and projects with the support of more senior engineers. Scope includes engineering aspects of studies or designs within engineering, maintenance and operation functions. Incumbents may be assigned to various engineering activities within engineering, maintenance and operation functions.

Job Brief:

Assistance in plan and design airport facilities while overseeing critical maintenance, project management, and regulatory compliance to ensure operational reliability. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute technical support, preventive maintenance, and infrastructure assessments, ensuring safety and efficiency. Additionally drive continuous improvement through industry best practices, sustainability initiatives, and clear stakeholder reporting for optimal asset management.

Job Description:

• Reviews the work performed elsewhere than in SAO for conformance with SAO conditions and to assure its appropriate relationship to existing installations; and if required, redesigns and recommends necessary modifications.
• Outlines the supporting service requirements such as drafting, surveying, materials take-off, requisitioning and clerical services; checks and coordinates the progress of such work; and reviews it for accuracy upon completion.
• Develops Cost estimates for the cost of engineering, labor, equipment and materials based on analysis of preliminary design data; draws up the expenditure request and justification; and assembles the supporting detail.
• Assists other engineers in the solution of problems outside their specialty (application).
• Initiates reports, assembles performance data and conducts studies relative to the development, procurement or adaptation of equipment; interpreting the meaning and application of codes and standards, reviewing operating procedures and safety instructions.
• Participates in the development of engineering, material and equipment specifications and resolves related engineering problems. Applies accepted engineering principles, codes and standards; making the necessary diagrams and calculations; and considering the economic factors involved.
• Develops solutions and formulates design basis by collecting and analyzing data relative to operating requirements, process and economic considerations to support proposals for new construction, modifications or equipment maintenance.
• Follows and inspects the construction progress of assigned projects assuring conformance with company engineering requirements; Recommends or confirms design changes, material and equipment substitutes; and assures that cost is within appropriated funds
