Job summary

ACCA Careers is seeking an experienced audit professional in Saudi Arabia to oversee a portfolio of complex, high-risk engagements and advise the Engagement Partner on technical accounting, auditing, and risk matters.

The role requires 8+ years in external audit, 2-3 years at Manager level, and professional certification (CPA, SOCPA, or ACCA). Excellent English and good Arabic are expected.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in external audit, including 2-3 years at Manager level.
• Professional certification: CPA, SOCPA, or ACCA (required).
• Deep expertise in IFRS, ISA, and Saudi regulatory frameworks (SOCPA).
• Demonstrated track record managing complex client portfolios and multi-disciplinary teams.
• English level – Excellent; Arabic – Good.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing a portfolio of complex, high-risk audit engagements.
• Advising the Engagement Partner on technical accounting, auditing, and risk matters.
• Leading, mentoring, and developing audit teams.
• Directing engagement economics, including budgeting, resourcing, billing, and profitability.
• Leading quality control reviews and ensuring full compliance with firm methodology, ISA, and regulatory requirements.
• Driving business development, including proposals and expanding existing client relationships.
• Partnering with the Partner group on strategic initiatives, practice growth, and talent strategy.
