Job summary

ACCA Careers is seeking a senior audit professional to oversee a portfolio of high‑risk engagements and act as a trusted advisor to the Engagement Partner on technical accounting and risk matters.

You will lead, mentor, and develop audit teams, manage engagement economics, and drive business development by expanding relationships with senior client stakeholders such as CFOs and Audit Committees. Proficiency in IFRS/ISA and Saudi regulations is required.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of external audit experience, including 2-3 years at Manager level.
• CPA, SOCPA, or ACCA certification required.
• Deep expertise in IFRS, ISA, and Saudi regulatory frameworks (SOCPA).
• Proven track record managing complex client portfolios and multi-disciplinary teams.
• Excellent English; Arabic good.

Job description

Overseeing a portfolio of complex, high-risk audit engagements, ensuring quality, efficiency, and profitability. Acting as key advisor to the Engagement Partner on technical accounting, auditing, and risk matters. Leading, mentoring, and developing audit teams. Serving as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders, including CFOs and Audit Committees. Directing engagement economics, including budgeting, resourcing, billing, and profitability. Leading quality control reviews and ensuring full compliance with firm methodology, ISA, and regulatory requirements. Driving business development, including leading proposals and expanding existing client relationships. Partnering with the Partner group on strategic initiatives, practice growth, and talent strategy.

Qualifications

• Years of experience: 8+Years in external audit, including 2-3 years at Manager level.
• Professional certification: CPA, SOCPA, or ACCA (required).
• Deep expertise in IFRS, ISA, and Saudi regulatory frameworks (SOCPA).
• Demonstrated track record managing complex client portfolios and multi-disciplinary teams.
• English level - Excellent; Arabic - Good.
