Job summary

Client of Tawzef in Saudi Arabia seeks an auditor to support external engagements under supervision, perform audit testing, verify balances, and prepare working papers.

You will review financial statements for IFRS compliance, identify discrepancies, participate in field procedures, and help produce reports and management letters. Willingness to relocate to Jeddah is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 1–3 years of external audit experience.
• Experience in a Top 10 audit firm is mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and International Standards on Auditing.
• Understanding of financial statements, accounting principles, and audit procedures.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to manage priorities within an audit team.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; audit management software is preferred.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Progress toward CPA, ACCA, CMA, SOCPA, or DipIFR certification preferred.
• Willingness to relocate to Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

Prepare accurate and properly documented audit working papers. Assist in reviewing financial statements for compliance with IFRS and applicable regulations. Identify discrepancies control weaknesses and potential audit risks. Participate in inventory counts and other field audit procedures. Communicate with clients to collect required information and supporting documentation. Assist in preparing audit reports management letters and engagement deliverables. Maintain confidentiality and comply with professional ethics and quality standards. Complete assigned audit tasks within agreed deadlines.
