Job summary

Brenntag Saudi Arabia in Jeddah seeks an External Account Manager to drive revenue in coatings, construction chemicals, and related industries. You will manage key accounts, identify new opportunities, and coordinate with R&D and supply chain to align sales with business goals.

The ideal candidate has 3–4 years of chemical raw materials sales experience, a Bachelor’s in chemical engineering or chemistry, and fluency in English and Arabic.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering or chemistry.
• 3–4 years of sales experience in chemical raw materials, preferably in paints/coatings, adhesives, with exposure to construction chemicals in Jeddah/western region.
• Strong knowledge of resins, solvents, additives, pigments, and other raw materials used in coatings and construction chemicals.
• Proven track record of meeting/exceeding sales targets in the Saudi market, preferably in Jeddah/western region.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills in English and Arabic.
• Ability to travel within Saudi Arabia.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve monthly/annual sales growth and revenue targets in coatings and construction chemicals.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities with customers, manufacturers, and end-users.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with assigned clients, suppliers, and industry stakeholders.
• Provide technical sales support, including product recommendations, formulation coordination, and troubleshooting.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to adjust sales strategies accordingly.
• Collaborate with R&D and supply chain teams to align sales efforts with business objectives to drive growth.
• Prepare sales forecasts based on market intelligence and reports for senior management.
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, and supply agreements with clients and suppliers.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and QSHE standards.
